News from the Cuneiform Digital Library InitiativeIn a cooperative effort during the past summer with Professors A. Westenholz, Copenhagen, and W. Sommerfeld, Marburg, the Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) was able to compile and enter into its main files a catalogue of over 5,000 Old Akkadian texts. All 61,335 texts of the current CDLI catalogue can be accessed through our provisional web search form at http://cdli.ucla.edu/texts/search.html or using the full database at http://cdli.ucla.edu/texts/catalogue.html. For those who use an older web browser, a simplified version of the full database is available at http://cdli.ucla.edu/texts/catalogue2.html As always we welcome your comments questions, and corrections. We are, further, pleased to note the appearance of a new article by Magnus Widell in our electronic publication, the Cuneiform Digital Library Journal, at http://cdli.ucla.edu/Pubs/CDLJlist.html
