1987-1992 studied Assyriology at the Oriental Faculty of the University of St. Petersburg (Department of the History of the Ancient Near East, under Dr. Rostislav A. Gribov and Dr. Sergey G. Koshurnikov)

1992-1993 studied Sumerology at the University of Münster, Germany (Institut für Assyriologie und Vorderasiatische Altertumskunde, under Prof. Joachim Krecher)

1993 graduated from the University of St. Petersburg with M.A. (supervisor: Prof. Igor M. Diakonoff)

1993-present curator of the Ur III cuneiform collection at the Oriental Department of the State Hermitage Museum, working on Ur III texts from the Hermitage collection (tablets currently being prepared for publication)

1998-present teaching Sumerology at the Russian State University for Humanities, Moscow (Department of Oriental Cultures)

1998-present working on a dissertation about reeds and timber in Ur III Umma

1998-present member of the Cuneiform Digital LIbrary Initiative, including supervision of 3rd millennium Hermitage tablet digitization by CDLI staff in St. Petersburg, regular data processing sessions at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin, and participation at the CDLI associates meeting in Los Angeles in October 2001
