Kutir-Nahhunte II
We know little about Kutir-Nahhunte's accession to the throne, in particular his background. The Babylonian Chronicle states that his predecessor Hallushu was deposed by his people, and although it does not specifically implicate Kutir-Nahhunte in the palace coup, there would be a certain irony in the change-over given Hallushu's own uprising against Shutruk-Nahhunte II (see Potts pg. 268-271).
